The Apprentice: Martha Stewart is Totally Different

The Apprentice: Martha Stewart ended filming last week and an "insider" claims the program differs dramatically from Trump's version.

"It's got totally different terminology and a different look than The Donald [version] ... It's also got totally different rules and regulations," the source told the New York Post. Oooh, rules and regulations! Sounds like Martha's a tough one, but what could this mean? No showmances? No sabotaging the other "corporation"? I'm guessing there may be more tasks where the outcome isn't determined by profit margin alone. Of course it has a different look; it doesn't take place in New York City. It's bount to be a little more "country." No word on whether Martha's show will also feature entirely superfluous appearances by Melania Knauss, Donald Trump's wife.

The shadowy, buzz-generating insider, who may or may not bear a striking resemblance to Mark Burnett, would not comment on where the firings take place. However, Stewart will say this much: there is no boardroom and she will not say "You're fired." It is apparently thought that candidates may be fired in the kitchen or garden of Stewart's home. We can see for ourselves where the poor buggers will feel the wrath of Martha on Wednesday, September 12, when The Apprentice: Martha Stewart premieres.

In other Martha Stewart news, CBS has scheduled "Martha: Behind Bars", an unauthorized prison biopic (the best kind), to air this fall. It was originally set to air in April, but was pushed back to coincide with the authorized Stewart shows beginning then. The movie stars Cybill Shepherd, who is making a habit of playing Stewart. The movie covers the period from October 1999 (starting from when Stewart's company went public) until her release from prison in March. Yeah, the title "Martha: Behind Bars" was a strong hint about that part.
